As promised below, Michael (Storm) added some clarifications regarding all the information we have published during the last days:
Disabled tracers:
Tracers will be disabled for all vehicles, except for SPGs. This means that tracers from SPGs will still be visible for everyone, just as it currently is in the game. However the area in SPG strategic aiming mode, where tracers of invisible vehicles are shown, has been reduced. To see them you will need to be closer to the point where they originated from.
During the process we have also removed the tracers of your own shots. But you should not be worried about it too much. We will probably bring it back with the 0.8.6 release, maybe even with the tracers of your allies’ shots.
Nerf of “HEAT” shells:
As announced previously, this is still planned. A detailed list of the changes will be shared closer to the release date.
100% trained crew for new accounts:
Will be available only for the tier 1 tanks that are available with the account creation. This feature will not be applied to any newly purchased tier 1 vehicles.
About the changes in game economy:
The income of all vehicles from the 5th tier to the 10th tier, except SPGs, will be increased. The changes will also be applied to the premium vehicles.Premium tanks up to the 8th tier will be leveled by the most profitable tier 8 vehicles. The income of less profitable vehicle will be increased.
The income of tier 8 vehicles will remain unchanged About the optimization of the sniper mode view:
Well, this is just a mechanism of reticle stabilization in sniper mode. It helps a lot during aiming on railroads, crushed fences etc. You will be able to fire faster, since you won’t have to wait until the tank stabilizes on this curvy terrain. It’s really useful and after internal tests we decided to implement it.
New premium tanks:
In 8.6 we will add the long expected Tier V Heavy A33 Excelsior tank. But we won’t add the Sexton, because there will be too many changes for SPGs in the next update and we want to analyze their performance first.
Actions using in-game physics:
“A mechanism was added, which allows determining what bonuses (XP, credits, frag count) will be granted for damaging or killing tanks using physics (pushing into water or from cliffs etc.) and who should receive them.”
This sentence means that there is not only a mechanism, but that this actually works. We will provide you with more details in further patch notes.
New super-heavy spall liner:
USSR: KV-4, KV-5
Germany: GW typ E, Jagdtiger8,8 , Jagdtiger, JagdPz E-100, VK4502 B, Maus, Lowe, E-75, E-100, VK7201

Prior to the update we will release a separate document just about these new mechanics. Stay tuned.

ГК на одной стороне - это два. Клан WG даже не воюет на ГК, потому
что в каждом втором бою на РУ-сервере реакция на клан-тэг примерно
такая: "Разраб, включил читы?" или "Разраб, выключи читы!" Уж
определились бы, чего хотят... Так что мое участие исключается.

After penetration, a HEAT shell cannot ricochet inside the tank (as the shell is transformed into a continuous stream).
After penetration, the HEAT shell will lose 5% of armour penetration force for each 10cm of travelling distance.
After penetration, the force with which the HEAT shell continues to travel through the armour will take into account the angle of impact between the armour and point of penetration.
Suspension also counts as spaced armour against HEAT shells.
Changed the mechanism of camouflage calculation when using a camouflage pattern and camouflage net:
From now on, the values for vehicles using camo patterns and a camo net will be cumulative. This means that now the camouflage net and camouflage pattern will provide fixed bonuses which will only differ based on the class of the vehicle (for example, TD's will receive the highest bonus).
To avoid side-effects with having nearly invisible TD's, it was decided to decrease the overall camouflage bonuses provided by bushes and fallen trees. Other changes:A full rebalance of SPGs was done (a full list will be available closer to the update).
The overall velocity of SPG shells was decreased (10-15% for regular guns and 50% for short-barreled ‘mortar’ guns).
Most SPGs receive an increase in reload time by an average of 10-20%.

The sound processing module has been reworked. Now it is possible to play more sounds without distortions and taking less system resources.
Changed the mechanics of ambient sounds placement on the map. Removed ‘dead zones’, increased the volume of wind in SPG-mode strategic view, created new events for water, industrial objects and fire.
Decreased the amount of sounds a tank’s suspension makes, while driving though curvy/hilly area
Increased the carrying distance of firing sounds, changed the dependence of sound on camera position, added a physical model of hearing sounds from a distance
Increased carrying distance of other tanks’ sounds and added ‘Doppler effect’ to increase reality of two vehicles moving side-by-side
Increased a variety of tank hit sounds
Changed the sound of tank destruction
Added 3D parameter. For all players, who have a 5.1 multimedia system, the realism of the game will increase greatly.
Changed the mechanism of shot accuracy calculation. Now the amount of shells falling at the limit of the aiming circle will decrease by 20%. Shells will hit more accurately and closer to the aim center.
Changed the mechanism of calculating damage and penetration. Extreme values will be seen 5% less often, while the average amounts will be seen more often.
Removed decreasing coefficients for XP received from dealing damage to TDs and SPGs.
TDs will receive 33% more XP for dealing damage, while SPG owners will notice a 50% boost in the same parameter.
Added an ‘assist’ bonus for tracking enemies: if you track an enemy and allies deal damage to it, or even destroy it, you will receive an XP bonus. This mechanism will work similarly to the current ‘damage on spotted vehicles’ mechanics.
Shell normalization of all APCR and APDS shells was decreased from 5 to 2 degrees
A mechanism was added, which allows to determine what bonuses (XP, credits, frag count) will be granted for damaging or killing tanks using physics (pushing into water or from cliffs etc.) and who should receive them. Added a compensation mode for vehicle movement in Sniper mode (this can be enabled in the game settings by selecting the ‘Use dynamic camera’ option).
Improved after-battle statistics.
Reworked a list of WoT achievements on the login screen
Reworked the mechanism of informing about a lack of memory
Added an automatic quality regulation system for tuning special effects, depending on resource usage and system performance. This will reduce the quality of effects (explosions, smoke and fire) automatically, if an FPS drop is detected.
Removed the following inscriptions: "Popeye", "Mickey Mouse", “Betty Boop". All players with these inscriptions will receive compensation depending on the mode of purchase (credits or gold) and time remaining (in case of inscriptions purchased for credits).
Small improvements to the special battle screen (display of nation, type or Tier limitations).
All new accounts will now receive Tier I tanks with 100% crew.

киберспортсмены из профессиональных команд, и ГК им нафиг не надо.
Это все равно, что Абрамовичу предложить сыграть в игру "Кто хочет
стать миллионером". Но если взять на уровень ниже, то добыть голду
можно двумя способами - в турнирах БЛ и на ГК. Но БЛ пока что
остается полузакрытым мероприятием,а ГК открыто для всех. Именно
там можно набраться опыта, сыграться и выйти уже на турнирный и
профессиональный уровень.

вангование на то, что будет, разбивается о пример латышей. Я давно
здесь живу, пятый десяток пошел, и знаю множество народных
ироничных высказываний самих латышей про свой менталитет. Например:
"Нет для латыша лучшего блюда, чем другой латыш", "Чтобы латыш был
счастлив, не надо, чтобы ему было хорошо, надо, чтобы соседу было
плохо" и так далее. Повторяю, это народный фольклор латышей про
самих себя. Я, кстати, данные высказывания не разделяю, но им
виднее.
К чему это я? А к тому, что все это не помешало им объединиться в один сильный клан, то есть сделать то, что вы заранее хороните. И люди, вступив туда, менялись буквально на глазах. Были форумными троллями и нытиками, которых все не устраивало, которые бросали игру по десять раз в месяц, а стали бойцами. И снаряды сразу полетели, куда надо, и танки гореть перестали, и заговоры КВГ куда-то исчезли.
Так что, уважаемое коммьюнити, подумайте еще раз, прежде чем отказываться от данной затеи. Для многих это станет глотком свежего воздуха, вторым рождением в игре.
P.S. Как сами понимаете, это пост не модератора, а бывшего дипломата крупного альянса кланов на РУ-сервере. Как модератору мне главное, чтобы вы тут срачеГ не устроили, а как бывшый игрок я всей душой за сильный альянс русскоязычных кланов.
К чему это я? А к тому, что все это не помешало им объединиться в один сильный клан, то есть сделать то, что вы заранее хороните. И люди, вступив туда, менялись буквально на глазах. Были форумными троллями и нытиками, которых все не устраивало, которые бросали игру по десять раз в месяц, а стали бойцами. И снаряды сразу полетели, куда надо, и танки гореть перестали, и заговоры КВГ куда-то исчезли.
Так что, уважаемое коммьюнити, подумайте еще раз, прежде чем отказываться от данной затеи. Для многих это станет глотком свежего воздуха, вторым рождением в игре.
