Ectar: Selling the Centurion 7/1 3 times before understanding how to play it. Selling my Pershing to fund the purchase of my Centurion. (Centurion is a great tank, I just also miss my Pershing) Not taking more an active interest sooner in my stats with a view to improving them. (Damage done & accuracy mainly which naturally lead to kills and wins)

Ectar:   They stack up and get investigated.   Personally if someone is being toxic, I mute them.  If I ever play with them again they're already muted and I know that player is someone to avoid and ignore.

Ectar: I quite like my FV4202 to be honest. The only thing I'd change is to have more top speed. It had nice acceleration, great agility and awesome gun depression.

W4RGAMER:   Wär ich auf jeden Fall dafür. Da würde ich evtl. auch selber gerne ein Video draus machen. Aber da gibt es sicher talentiertere Leute. Natürlich brauchen wir nicht alle Replays, aber vielleicht könnte ja jeder der sich gut bis sehr gut geschlagen hat, sein Replay hochladen.  Standard Variante wäre natürlich der Upload bei wotreplays.com: LINK Alternativ würde ich aber vorschlagen, dass wir mal die Upload-Seite von Quickybaby testen: LINK ==> Vorteil hier wäre, dass wir die ganzen Replays mit einem einheitlichen Tag ( z.B. [ST_GER] ) versehen könnten, nach dem man dann suchen kann. Dadurch müssten wir nicht ein Sammelsurium von Links in diesem Forum anlegen um den Youtubern alle Videos an die Hand zu geben.  Sagt mal eure Meinung dazu.

PanzerGert: Moin zusammen!   Heute sind Obirian und meine Wenigkeit wieder zurück im Büro, zur Abwechslung mal mit einem etwas trockeneren Plätzchen an der Sonne. Enrico ist noch in Deutschland um sich um die nächsten Events zu kümmern.   Es freut mich das trotz des strömenden Sonnenscheins, den wir zwischendurch genießen durften, doch so viele Leute sich nach Trier aufgemacht haben. Ich hoffe, nicht nur die alten Stahlkatzen haben euch gefallen und beeindruckt, als auch einen Eindruck vermittelt wie diese wirklich aussehen, sondern das ihr auch ein paar nette Gespräche mit anderen World of Tanks Spielern führen konntet.

Das Wetter hat uns ja einen schönen Strich durch die Rechnung gemacht, aber das hat viele von euch dennoch nicht davon abgehalten zu erscheinen. Walther und Garfield haben es auch erfolgreich nach Trier geschafft, wenn auch wohl etwas verspätet. Mit dfrom bin ich leider kaum zu sprechen gekommen, aber ich denke das können wir beim nächsten Event nachholen. Yuki, das Duell ist angenommen, ich erscheine auch gerne mit deutscher Fahne!    Unsere beiden Tische, die uns der Förderverein organisiert hatte, wurden kurz hinter dem Eingang aufgestellt, damit wir etwas Ablagefläche für die T-Shirts hatten und die Preise unterstellen konnten. Gleichzeitig dienten sie als Ankerpunkt wo man sich kurzerhand treffen konnte, das hat wunderbar funktioniert. Auch wenn wir keinen Pavillon zur Verfügung hatten, da muss man halt durch.    Einen herzlichen Dank an den Förderverein der WTD41, das wir auf ihrer Veranstaltung dabei sein durften, als auch, einen herzlichen Dank an den Spieler vom Förderverein der das ganze überhaupt erst möglich gemacht hat und mit Rico zusammen das ganze vorbereitet hat.   Aufgrund des bekannt guten Wetters wurde die Tombola Auslosung etwa 10 min vorgezogen, da, viele nicht länger im Regen herumwaten wollten, vor allem diejenigen die mit Familie angereist waren. Das hat es nicht unbedingt einfacher gemacht, aber ab einem bestimmten Punkt muss man sich entscheiden und handeln. Die Verteilung der Tombola Preise ging dann doch noch erstaunlich reibungslos von statten, zumal wir weit mehr Lose zur Verfügung hatten als Teilnehmer. Die überzähligen Preise wurden nach der Tombola dann mit den bis dahin noch verbliebenen T-Shirts verteilt, die verbliebenen Hauptpreise (Rundfahrt mit dem Panzer 38 (t) und Kettenkrad) wurden mit improvisierten Quizfragen unter das Publikum gebracht, ich hoffe die Rundfahrten haben Spaß gemacht.    Das Treffen im Theo wurde entsprechend von 17 Uhr auf ~15 Uhr vorgezogen, da auch nicht zu erwarten war das noch viele Leute nach der Tombola aufgrund des Wetters auf der Veranstaltung erscheinen würden. Das war etwas schade, aber nur so konnten wir sicher stellen das sich um die Leute welche ins Theo mitkamen auch gekümmert wurde, zumal das gros der Leute bereits aufgrund des Wetters eh los wollte.

Nach der Rückfahrt und einer kurzen, aber heißen Dusche, ging es dann im Theo weiter, wo noch reichlich Leute erschienen und ich mir mit ausgelassener Stimmung auch noch ein Duell einfing.  Danach ging es noch kurz zum Essen um später den Abend mit einem harten Kern langsam und gemütlich ausklingen zu lassen.

Alles in allem war es mir ein Vergnügen euch zu treffen, auch wenn uns allen das Wetter es ein wenig schwer gemacht hat. Ich hoffe das uns das Wetter im September ein wenig freundlicher gesinnt ist, dann geht es rüber nach Munster. Dort planen wir nach der Gamescom ebenfalls beim Stahl auf der Heide mit dabei zu sein.   Ich hoffe das es euch trotz des Wetters ebenfalls Spaß gemacht hat, man sieht sich hoffentlich in Munster wieder!

Ectar:     You seem to have some misconceptions here.   First of all a Premium Tank is not intended to be the best of it's tier/class (otherwise everyone would be expected to buy them) - What they are intended to be is competitive tanks that give you an increased credit return for your damage done in a game.  

Ectar:   Generally you can only be refunded for a premium tank if you've never played it and only right after you purchase it.  We don't have a "try before you buy" system. If you have any questions about this our support team are the best people to talk to about it as it may vary on your payment used or your individual circumstances.  

Ectar:   In a one on one situation not all are equal, but it doesn't mean that each of them can't play their part or make you credits. Some are more difficult to play than others  

Ectar:   It would depend on your reason for wanting one. Most people buy a premium tank so that they have a vehicle that will earn them extra credits and can also be used to train up a crew quicker. Each tank has it's merits and flaws.   Premium tanks are not "I win" buttons. You won't suddenly start winning games because you have a premium tank.  As with any tank damage = credits. The benefits of a premium tank is that they earn double credits.

Ectar:    Answer me this then. What was the reason you came to the forum in the first place and what is the reason you come back each time?

Ectar:   Yes we can straight up ban the alt accounts from using the forums and this does happen.  "Creating an alt account just for the purpose of trolling" others is a reason that will result in a shutdown of that account.  - I'm not going to go into how it's traceable but with some people even when they think they're being smart, it's so painfully obvious, we're amazed they're seriously trying to pretend they're someone different.  

Ectar:     I have no idea. I'm eagerly awaiting more info about it since I was told about it and then seeing it demo'd at E3

Ectar:   You'll be amazed at how many restaurant managers don't eat in their restaurant. Product burnout/over saturation is pretty common when a hobby becomes a job.  When it comes to any community role the community/CS experience is something that can't be taught in the way that game knowledge can be taught.  

Ectar:   True, but then everyone has to start somewhere. If someone who was a Community Manager/Coordinator for multiple years at another game applied here, they wouldn't be turned away for having low stats.  Again battles/win ratio isn't a guide to game knowledge and vice-versa, knowing lots about the game doesn't translate to being amazing at the game.

Ectar:   The player who created the thread posted at 10:41 2 player replied almost instantly to say they had no problems. So the answer to the question of Are the EU servers down? is "No."  Are they down now? - No. The next player in the thread suggest a traceroute. - player who created the thread hasn't appeared to have done so.   In this thread 3 players including yourself are reporting problems and 2 players say there is no problems. If there was a major issue with our servers, we would have been notified internally.  If there was a major problem last night, we would have been notified. - There has been no notifications.   In any situation where someone is having problems connecting to the game, we'll always advise the player to contact our support team for a variety of reasons. One of the most obvious being the fact that walking a player through a fault diagnostics on the forums without 10 other people chipping in their opinions/advice or trying to derail the thread regarding their issue, isn't possible. Support like this needs to be direct on a 1 to 1 basis as in the majority of cases the reasons why a player is having connections issues is totally different from player to player.   So please. Contact our support team who are in the best position to help you with this issue.
