Overlord: Basically only those persons and organizations internationally prohibited and condemned by Nuremberg trials are outlaw in-game. You can get a detailed reply from customer support.
BTW: IS = Stalin, so it's even implied in-game.

Overlord: Won't be doing much about it, probably some economy / grinding changes.
The modules of Jagdpanzer's counterparts are much more expensive. So the research cost for JP is relatively high.
Stat-wise Jagdpanzer's performance is not that weak:
JagdPz IV - 49.19% wins - 274 exp
СУ-100 - 49.79% wins - 283 exp
M36 Slugger - 50.46% wins - 298 exp

Salutations tankistes,
Permettez-moi de me présenter. Mon nom est Mohamed Fadl et je suis responsable de l'équipe communautaire pour Wargaming Europe. Wargaming a créé son quartier général européen sur Paris en novembre 2011 et a commencé à prendre en charge les tâches européennes de notre quartier général sur Minsk.
Laissez-moi vous en dire un peu plus sur moi et notre but ici en Europe. J’ai commencé dans l’industrie du jeu il y a 7 ans avec Blizzard Entertainment sur Paris, où j’ai travaillé dans différents départements en commençant par le service de support clientèle, puis le département des comptes, jusqu’à devenir le trésorier du conseil du travail. Après avoir acquis quelques années d’expérience chez Blizzard Entertainment, je me suis lancé vers de nouvelles aventures. Après une brève période de travail en chine, j’ai rejoint les bureaux de NCsoft au Royaume-Uni, où j’y ai continué à travailler pendant les deux années suivantes en tant que Chargé de communauté allemand, puis en tant que responsable de l'équipe communautaire.
Je jouais déjà à World of Tanks pendant la Beta et j’ai directement accroché. En entendant que la compagnie derrière World of Tanks était sur le point d’ouvrir des bureaux en Europe, je fus immédiatement intéressé. Et me voilà, à faire ce que je savais que j’étais destiné à faire.
Mais assez parlé de moi, parlons affaires :
Nous avons recruté une équipe dévouée et passionnée. Notre équipe communautaire nouvellement formée en Europe gère plusieurs langues (français, anglais, polonais, tchèque, espagnol et allemand) et notre objectif principal est de fournir le service, un support, le  contenu et l’amusement que chaque membre de la communauté Wargaming mérite.
Notre but est de comprendre les besoins de la communauté et de faire remonter vos impressions aux développeurs, afin de faire de World of Tanks le jeu que vous aimez et auquel vous désirez jouer.
Ce n’est pas tout !
Nous avons un calendrier bien rempli pour l’année à venir, avec de nombreux concours, tirages au sort, et événements.
Nous avons commencé avec le concours de fin d’année, et avons été submergés par le nombre de participants. Nous vous promettons que ce concours était seulement le début. De nombreux autres événements en jeu vont arriver.
L’équipe travaille en ce moment sur un planning afin d’avoir la chance de vous rencontrer en personne dans les grandes villes d’Europe afin que vous puissiez vous asseoir avec nous et partager vos avis et vos idées.
De plus, notre équipe Européenne possède désormais aussi un spécialiste militaire qui a servi pendant plus de 29 ans dans l’armée anglaise en tant que chef de char et participa à d’innombrables conflits. Il est notre nouvel expert sur les chars. Son savoir et ses années d’expérience nous fourniront un avis éclairé et nous aideront à améliorer le travail que nous effectuons.

And on T34, is has 3 guns, 90mm, 105mm and 120mm, if the M103 will also have 3 guns, 105mm, an intermediate 120mm and M58 120mm, while we have 105 researched on T34, are we going to get intermediate 120mm?
And one question about, the seam that joining the upper on lower front glacis on _E-75 is a weak point like the old weak point of IS-7? When I am on hull down with E-75 everybody shooting there and it seems they are penetrating also....

OldFox: Вообще-то командир в бою и человек, разрабатывающий тактики на отдельных картах, в идеале не должен быть один и тот же. У тактика может не хватать реакции и решимости в командовании, а также самого главного, на мой взгляд, в деле командира: чувства момента. Вот именно сейчас надо делать то-то и то-то, ни секундой раньше или позже! Это интуиция, которая побеждает. Не многие ею обладают. Мну кааццо, что у Остапа она есть, но иногда он не дает ей волю, душит рационализмом и соображениями из серии "кабы чаво не вышло" :)

OldFox: Первый фейл начался из-за меня: у нас был иностранец в команде, и когда Остап объяснял диспозицию перед боем, я ее не понял и вылез вперед. Второй проигрыш был обусловлен, на мой взгляд, неопытностью отдельных игроков в игре на Утесе - они не знали, где пробивает арта. Ну и Остап немного замешкался с принятием решения, поэтому и прозевали массированную атаку по всем направлениям.
Однако хочу отметить: уровень игры роты весьма приличный (даже не ожидал), на уровне среднего по клановым ротам РУ-сервера. А если бы добавить сыгранности, то в таком составе можно и на РУ-карте пару провинций оттяпать :)
Но вот те роты, которые мы встречали в бою, оставили у меня тягостное впечатление: так на РУ-сервере играли примерно год назад, месяц спустя после выхода патча с введением рот. Неужели такие кланы, ка Хардс и чехи могут с такой игрой быть на ГК?
ПС. Прошу понять меня правильно: я высказал только свое мнение, и не претендую на истину в последней инстанции. Это мнение может быть и необъективным, продиктованным моим эмоциональным отношением к европейскому стилю игры - трусости рационализму (хе-хе, будем политкорректны) и кемперству.

90/cos(50)+30= 170mm Total Armor
276-30=246, 140/246*100 = ~55% loss of penetrating power lost after side skirt

Don't get me wrong, This is some pretty serious blocking power....
If the introduction of side skirt armor becomes available as equipment, then there are going to be a crap load of issues being able to penetrate such armor at most angles, for all guns.
Also, these calculations are rough and do not include normalization, or the effective armor thickness of the side skirt at an angle
roughly 20% inaccuracy because of varying penetrating perimeters and vague calculations

Overlord: These calculations are plainly incorrect (based on what I have see in the 2nd replay with T34).

Sides are sloped as they are now, and you positioning your tank that way manually increase the impact angle to the nearly bouncing one (horizontal+vertical), which increases the effective armour to max thickness possible.

That tank is the IS-3. Not any other IS variants, not any other USSR tanks... just the IS-3 specifically. And me shooting AP shells, not HE (in fact, if I hit an IS-3 with HE I have no issues dealing damage at all). I have had series of 5-8 consecutive shots that each showed a green reticle, each played the shrill ping noise generally associated with crits (and some, but not all, also having voice confirmation by the crew). And every single one of them inflicted zero damage.

However, it COULD be the new armor group layout, with 16 instead of 8 groups, spaced armor, and reworks of the hitboxes in some tanks. Could that not be a reason why some tanks are getting hit into modules unusually often? Maybe there are a few tanks now that are really hard to hit in a manner that actually causes HP damage, because the hitboxes of the modules are "in the way" from pretty much all angles?
Unfortunately I can't drive an IS-3 yet, so I have no way to confirm or deny that it gets module damage with every hit... but it's a theory as good as any other.

Overlord: Internal modules and even crew members can be of a different size due to the fact that hit boxes of tanks differ greatly.
