Things like Company Battles offer boosted exp/credits for a victory, while punishing a loss more severely. At least offer something for sitting in the longer queue, as opposed to just playing randoms.   I thought Storm's note of only 4% (?) of the population playing Historical Battles was a sign of its success, or lack thereof.
