That's my point... the gold rounds for this particular gun make it
5x more effective than the AP rounds, which is a serious pay-to-win

So to kill KT you would need 9 rounds and 30 seconds. And for stock KT to kill you it would need 4 rounds and 26 seconds. That's with stock KT and not considering high probability of you bouncing off the KT.
And why KT armor matters, because you can go against KT in 7.5 cm KwK 42 L/70 equiped with gold rounds with pretty much same success rate. But you wouldn't have to waste gold if you encounter someone of your size or lower. It is all around better gun.
7.5 cm KwK 41 L/58 konisch is nothing more than a toy to entertain yourself for several rounds.
