Without going into detail (mods would prolly dislike it heavily), I can tell you, it's trivial (1 or 2 hours) to code a macro for each map to scout for instance. Making a tank go in a given path, based on map recognition.
However these have little influence in the game. What ticked me off, were the (they disappeared now afaics) dudes macroing/botting with high-end tanks, that always put their team at a disadvantage.
That being said, I'm sure there's some sort of anti-bot/macro measure coming up the pipes.
