WGCL Open Cup

dance210: WGCL Open Cup 1 of 3Tournament Page Registration Schedule Open Cup 1Group Stage 1 Monday, April 4th @ 6 pm PT / 8 pm ET Map: Ghost Town Group Stage 2 Wednesday, Apriil 6th @ 6 pm PT / 8 pm ET Map: Sand River Group Stage 3 Monday, April 11th @ 6 pm PT / 8 pm ET Map: Murovanka Group Stage 4 Wednesday, Apriil 13th @ 6 pm PT / 8 pm ET Map: Himmelsdorf  14/140 FormatOfficial maximum battle time will be 8 minutes with 3 minutes between battles. All maps are Dual-Cap Attack/Defense mode. Teams will play one match on attack and one match on defense within each round. There are two sides to each map: attack and defense Attacker wins if their team is able to 1) cap one enemy base or 2) kill all enemy tanks Defender wins if their team is able to 1) successfully defend both bases from the attacker and survive for the full 8 minute timer or 2) kill all enemy tanks. The use of mods is strictly forbidden, all players must use a vanilla client. The use of mods could result if forfeiture of the round, the entire Group Stage and/or disqualification and removal from the entire Cup. Players must set replays to record all. Wargaming reserves to right to request replays and/or python logs at any time. Players are required to submit those to clan.league.wga@gmail.com or risk forfeiture of the match and/or round. All players must be in the clan at the time of the battle in order to participate. If any player is not in the clan and enters the battle, the team will forfeit that round. Both team's captains are allowed to make changes in their active team roster and vehicle setup after each battle. Tank CompositionTeams may field up to 14 players with up to 140 tier points allowed for tank choices. The maximum tier allowed is Tier X. i.e. an IS-7 is a tier X tank and is equal to ten tier points. Teams must have a minimum of 12 players and 112 tier points. If a team has less than 12 players or 112 tier points, they will be disqualifed. Players are not allowed to bring any reward tanks. These include, but are not limited to Clan Wars reward tanks (M60, Object 907, etc.) Rampage reward tank (T-22SR) Personal msision reward tanks (T-55A, T28 concept, etc.) Cup PrizesPrizes are paid out to the clan treasury, based on final, overall standings from Rounds 3 and 4.1st Place: 5,000 gold to clan treasury 2nd Place: 4,000 gold to clan treasury 3rd - 4th Place: 3,500 gold to clan treasury 5th - 8th Place: 3,000 gold to clan treasury Cup PointsThe top 8 clans from each Cup will earn Cup Points depending on their final rank.The top 8 clans, based on cumulative points across all Cups, will participate in a Playoff at the end of May / beginning of June. The top 2 clans at the end of the Playoffs will earn a berth in the WGCL Challengers League for Season 3.1st Place - 10 points 2nd Place - 8 points 3rd Place - 7 points 4th Place - 6 points 5th Place - 5 points 6th Place - 4 points 7th Place - 3 points 8th Place - 2 points Group Stage 1 & 2Teams will play all other teams within their group. Rounds begin every 23 minutes. Within a round, teams will play two maches. One match will be on defense and one match on attack. Each match within a round will last 8 minutes with a 3 minute break between matches. Teams will earn 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and 0 points for a loss. Teams will be ranked based on the ratio of points earned vs. points possible. Points from Group Stage 1 and Group Stage 2 will be combined for a final, overall rank. The top 50% of teams based on the final, overall rank will move on to Group Stages 3 and 4. Group Stage 3 & 4Teams will play all other teams within their group. Rounds begin every 23 minutes. Within a round, teams will play two maches. One match will be on defense and one match on attack. Each match within a round will last 8 minutes with a 3 minute break between matches.
