WGLNA Silver League Rules & Regulations

dance210: WGLNA Silver League Rules & Regulations:By participating in any WGLNA sub-league, you agree to abide by all rule sets, league regulations, and administrative rulings. Team captains are responsible for their team’s conduct and complete understanding of rules.WGLNA SettingsStandard League SettingsGame Mode:  Dual-Cap Attack/Defense mode Team Size: 7 vs 7; 7 participants and 3 reserve players Victory Conditions: The winner of each round is determined as the first to 5 victories out of a maximum of 9 battles. Sides: Teams will alternate between Attacker and Defender each match. Battle duration: Each battle lasts a maximum of 8 minutes and considered a draw if no winner is found within the time limit. If after 8 battles, neither team has achieved five victories, teams will participate in a 9th tiebreaker round. Substitutions: Players may be substituted freely between battles within a round based on active roster Schedule: The season schedule is published in the respective WGLNA sub-league’s News & Announcements thread Special Restrictions:      A team must use 7 tanks to access 68 available tier points. Teams must have a minimum of five Tier X tanks or they will be disqualified. Team may only use Tiers VIII - X. Teams may bring no more than two of each tank model (e.g. T62-A, T110E5) to each battle. The use of any mod is expressly prohibited in WGLNA. Standard “vanilla” game clients are required of all league participants.Participation RequirementsWGLNA league play is based on eligibility from qualifiers as well as WGLNA relegation/promotion rules. A team must have at least 7 and no more than 10 members. Teams must keep a minimum of 3 players between seasons. Players are only allowed to participate in one League across all Wargaming.net League regions. Region locking Teams are allowed a maximum of three players from outside the region. The WGLNA region includes North America, South America, Central America and the Caribbean. Team namesTeam names must adhere to game and forum rules. Team names violating game or forum rules may result in league disqualification and include game bans. League admins reserve the right to edit team names.During the RoundEnsure that replays are being saved to your replays folder for documenting your battles. Teams are required to send in replays and python logs after each round is complete. Use screenshots as supporting documentation when necessary. Send a forum PM or a Skype message to league admins for immediate concerns.Remakes & Server IssuesA server issue is any instance where the server is unable to correctly deliver the special battle for the round.If server issues cause a missed round, the round will be rescheduled by league admins according to the regular season schedule. Visit the respective WGLNA league’s News & Announcements thread for the latest information. Teams must allow up to 30 minutes for a scheduled round to initiate. If the match remains missing after 30 minutes, the round will be rescheduled for another league day. Map settings cannot be adjusted once a special battle initiates. Whichever map loads for the special battle is the map that must be played with points contributing to regular season standings.StreamingAll teams agree to have their matches streamed during any regularly scheduled battle. Specific tournament and streaming rules will be provided to team captains in advance of the stream.Technical Victory/Technical DefeatThere is a 3 strike rule for technical defeats and no-shows. After 3 strikes, the team will be disqualified for the remainder of the season. Scores before the DQ will stand as played. Any battles after the DQ will be cancelled and the opposing team will earn a victory. The disqualified team must re-enter through the qualifier(s) to regain entry into the WGLNA. To declare a technical victory, the opposing team captain must email tournaments@wargamingamerica.com with screenshot evidence of the technical victory. Posts on the forums will NOT count as proof of a technical victory.Other Warnings and DisqualificationsAll penalties may take into account the severity of the violation, resulting in greater consequences.Teams can be disqualified from WGLNA leagues for unsportsmanlike conduct including, but not limited to, foul language, racism, profanity, disrespect of an official, streamer or caster. Teams can be disqualified for intentionally using any prohibited bugs, exploits, hacks or are found to be utilizing unfair methods of competition by league administration.DisputesA dispute is a claim against an illegitimate result by an opponent’s violation of WGLNA rules.Disputes must adhere to the protocol detailed below or risk having the dispute dropped by WGLNA administration.Disputes must be submitted immediately after battle. Disputes must be emailed to WGLNASilverLeague@gmail.com The email subject/title must include the word “Dispute:” followed by the name of the WGLNA sub-league and round number for which you are filing a dispute.Disputes may only be filed by team captains or a team member listed under team’s contact details.Disputes must include the following in the body of the email or risk having the dispute dropped by tournament administration:In-game name of the player submitting the dispute Your team’s name with a link to your team’s registration page Your opponent’s team name and a link to your opponent’s registration page Reason for dispute: e.g. “I would like to report the team for breaking the -1 rule.” An attached replay of the disputed battle(s)Additional notes:Opposing team captains will be alerted of the dispute by forum PM after the dispute is processed. Captains are responsible for monitoring their PM inbox. Penalty for using mods is subject, but not limited to:     Player and/or team disqualification Player and/or team suspension Player and/or team expulsion Penalty for sharing tournament account information during a match (e.g. having someone “sockpuppet”;) is subject, but not limited to: Player and/or team could lose access to their tournament account. Player and/or team could lose access to their training account. Sanctions against the player’s main account, including an in-game ban. Sanctions against the team captain’s main account, including an in-game ban. Publicizing disputes prior to resolution is subject to penalties at league admin's discretion, not limited to:     Disregarding the dispute Immediate team disqualification Removal of offending player from the league StandingsTies at the end of the season are ruled in favor of the team with the following (in order of priority)     Fewest battle losses Most battle wins Head to head winner Complete draw Complete draws at the end of the regular season are broken by a single game playoff. Final season standings are based on the following (in order of priority):     Each team's progression through the playoffs Final regular season rank Roster ChangesTeam captains may request roster changes by emailing WGLNASilverLeague@gmail.com beginning the date listed on the respective WGLNA league page. Roster changes are limited to three times during the season. Roster change periods are announced on the WGLNA league page. Roster changes submitted Thursday are processed for the following week's Monday round. Players may only participate on one team across all WGLNA leagues. Teams harboring an offending player are subject to penalties including, but not limited to, disqualification and expulsion. Players may only participate on one team across all Wargaming.net League regions for regular season play. Teams harboring an offending player are subject to penalties including, but not limited to, disqualification and expulsion. The final day for submitting all roster changes can be found on the respective WGLNA league page.Promotion & RelegationTeams must keep a minimum of 3 players in order to receive an invitation to the subsequent season. Teams denying invitation to subsequent leagues, based on their final season standing, must re-qualify through the qualifiers. Any teams that elect to resign from the league in the middle of the season must re-enter through the qualifiers.
