I am told that players who were in a team for 3 of the 4 weeks will only receive 75% of the prize that their points qualifies them for. I can understand that if the rankings were based on winrate, but its seems odd that a team who scored more points than another team should received less gold than that other team. I understand the concern that top teams might change members each week and game the system for a full payout each, but perhaps a better way to factor down the payments to each player would be to consider the total number of weeks that each team was registered (1-4) as the base, rather than assuming that 4 weeks is the base for all. So if a team was registered for 3 weeks and ranked in top 20%, then players who were in that team for all 3 weeks would get 100%, 2 weeks 67%, etc. Its all spreadsheet work and very doable. As it stands, teams who played less than the full 4 weeks but scored more points than those that did play all four get less gold, which seems illogical.   I realize its work, and you have other things to get to, but if you decided that the above interpretation of the prize rules was more equitable (seeing as no-one loses out) then if you could make that happen the community would be mightily impressed..!

dance210:   I'm not quite sure who told you that. Teams get the full prize, no matter how many weeks they registered. However, if a team played for 3 weeks, but a player only played for 2 weeks, they will get 2/3 of the final prize.   That's why I'm double checking everything before sending out the gold ;)
