dance210:   A team needs to lose by tech defeats...that's why it says something to the effect of it needs to be a complete defeat, not partial. So, theoretically, if a team were to tech out once or twice, they would be fine.   In this case, for this particular night, if a team lost to a tech defeat by a score of 2 - 3, then we would have been able to figure out that you won and just stopped showing.
