dance210: Couple of problems with limiting to two tiers, 25 points. Taking your (7, 5, 5) as an example, a platoon could bring two Tier 5 tanks into a Tier 9 match, which isn't as bad as bringing a Tier 1, but still outside what a Tier 5 (excluding lights and arty) would normally see.
The other issue would be not allowing platoons that would work, but are outside your 2 tier limit. An example is platooning a Tier 5 light with any Tier 10 tank - this is a perfectly reasonable match but your system would no longer allow it.
