Why did they "buff" the Tiger's gun?

churchill50: Honestly, I don't get what you're all going on about. No offense. First off, to address some misconceptions. The alpha went up, the reload got worse, but the DPM is the same. The DPM was neither nerfed nor buffed. The reload is still great. It beats all the higher alpha heavies by a wide margin.It either beats or just barely loses (by 0.5 seconds max) all the other heavies with 220/240/250 alpha, which allows it to trade with them. It was never able to trade 3 for 1 with anything but a derp O-Ni. It was only able to trade 2 for 1 with everything else. It's still able to do that. Meanwhile, the 40 extra alpha and improved aim time are both quite nice. The one situation where I've noticed it affecting me is permatracking people. Most tanks with a good repair crew can now avoid being permatracked by a Tiger I. So, to be fair, that has been annoying. I loved the Tiger I before the buffs, and I still love it now. Sure it's slightly different to play, but not substantially so.
