Challenge Rules
Tournament Page Tier & Point Limits
Teams may deploy no more than 5 members in each match. A team must field a selection of tanks based on the below tier limits.Heavy: 4

18 points maximum The standard battle mode will be used for this tournament.
Please note: Regardless of the maximum team size, teams may only bring 5 team members into battle.
Victory Conditions
Group StageBattles begin every 15 minutes.
3 points are granted for a win, 1 point for a tie, 0 points for a loss.
Each battle will last 10 minutes max.
The top 6 teams in each group advance to the playoff round.
Teams are seeded into the playoffs according to the total number of points earned in group stage.] Tie-BreakersThe winner of each round will be determined as the first to 3 victories.

The complete schedule will be provided at the close of registration, after the final team count has been determined. Rounds and are to be scheduled every other day with dates in between reserved for make-ups and tie-breakers. Rounds will begin at 6PM PST (9PM EST, 01:00 UTC the following day). The following prizes will be provided to each member of the respective team, including reserves.First place: 12000
Second place: 9000
Third place: 6000
Fourth place: 4000
Fifth - Eight Place: 1600
Ninth - Sixteenth Place: 300 If the first place team is able to win the Challenge without losing a single battle, each member will receive an additional 2,000 gold.

There will only be one map used during the Battle of Gazala Challenge. The map played on for the Challenge will be Airfield.

Registration
Registration Terms
Registration begins on June 7, 2013 and ends on June 14, 2013 at 4PM PST (7PM EST).
A team must have at least 5 members to be eligible for participation in the tournament, with a maximum allowed 8 members.
Teams may only include existing clan names/tags in their team name if they are directly affiliated with that clan.
Teams below the minimum or above the maximum will not be accepted into the tournament.
Teams must be submitted for approval to participate in the Battle of Gazala Challenge. You can find instructions on applying here.
By participating you agree to abide by the official tournament rules
Teams participating in ELO scoring must tag their current score next to their team name in brackets in order to have their seeding apply and scored. Please visit the ELO discussion at our forum for details.
Please keep all team names alpha-numeric. Characters such as "?, %, @, ^, etc" may cause issues with your team, and prevent you from being able to participate in the tournament.
