tournaments, I'll keep an eye on how they go and player feedback
before deciding anything for August.

y'all. The purpose behind the change for July isn't to cut
the amount of gold; it is to try something new. Tournaments have
been run basically the same way for a while - meaning, weekly and
now daily tournaments, with a few special event tournaments thrown
in. I've probably been the biggest supporter of continuing running
a variety of tournaments. For July, we are trying something
different: running fewer tournaments but putting more
hype behind them. Could it fail horribly? Of course. Then again,
once all the tournaments go live, it could succeed. What's cool is
that if it doesn't seem to be working, we could always add stuff
back in.

during the first two weeks. (No, it's not really a word...it will
hopefully make sense once the rest of the month is explained. Also,
no I take no responsibility for coming up with that word lol).
The best I could do would be to maybe run a Skirmish during
the last week of June, which would continue into the
Fourth of July weekend (yes, July 4th is a Monday, but some may
celebrate the weekend). That's not a solution though; that just
means there will be 2 weeks without a week long tournament instead
of 3 (or 4 if you don't count the Soccer tourney). I'll also
be taking the feedback from here when we plan out August, which was
partly the point of this thread

much welcome. I've already removed several posts in
this topic, that should serve as a warning to everyone.
