Vallter: Everything depends on team performance. Tanks are balanced well with the MM.

Vallter: This serves two purposes. Makes players play lower tiers from time to time and also play more careful. it's intended to be so and won't change.

Obscurity isn't going to prevent the dedicated few who figure this stuff out initially, like the author of wotreplays blog. If you read the blog the author is now looking at the saved passwords. Not sure how that's implemented, but if it's only a CRC hash and DES/RC2, even with salting that seems weak. Do we have to worry about malicious programs stealing our passwords again?
Will there be more graphic options in game?
Some options seem to be bundled and affect more than one parameter in the preferences.xml when changed in game.
Will the resolution option be worked on?
The game seems to be missing a few common ones like 1280x720. Also it's possible to set any aspect ratio with any resolution included, making for odd combinations like 16:9 or 5:4 @1920x1200 which doesn't make a lick of sense. Maybe when a user selects 16:10 he can only see 16:10 resolutions?

Vallter: 1)Could you please describe the problem in details? As far as I remember, replays contain just battle recording and have no connection to the login information
2)Yes, we will be adding an advanced control on graphics gradually with new render. 'Bloom' effect is one of the first points we've added to the menu.
3)We will discuss your suggestion and probably plan to implement thie feature. But all in all, it will have low priority.

What I'm referring to is situations like the Tiger II where the front hull armour is displayed in game as 150mm, but these is no mention that the lower hull is only 120mm.

Vallter: We do not want to overwhelm players wirh lines and lines of characteristics. Once a more sophisticated system to display such statistics will be added, we will implement such feature.

When the Panzer IV is "changed", what is it getting to account for the loss of its turret and gun to make it different from the Panzer III/IV?

2)It will be overally rebalanced, you can check it out on the Public Test of 8.0

Can one of the devs please advise why the top German tanks have not received a penetration buff? They are all at the bottom of the win % rankings based off of recent numbers posted on the server.
