How do you have fun nowadays?

Are you like me, where the main reason you click "Battle" is to get your doubles or grind to the next tank? And when what you normally do stops being fun, how do you keep yourself engaged and keep clicking on "Battle"?
I would appreciate all responses from all players, regardless of skill level and time spent playing the game.
