What's Gonna Happen With 9.1?

Trevzor: New Update!   The work around that our devs described to me didn't work reliably.   I did try the work around that dstud characterized here and it seemed to work well enough.   I will be consulting the devs again tomorrow so that I can get exact steps for what they tried to instruct me to instruct you (it's 02:00 in Minsk right now.)   When I get their work around steps straightened out, I will let you folks know.   Thanks for all of your patience!
