Known Issues with 9.0
Дата: 17.04.2014 19:28:17
Trevzor: Hey there tankers! With the release of 9.0 we have started
to gather information with issues that we are experiencing.
Current known issues are as follows: Random Crashes We have
experienced this with multiple tanks, not just the Hellcat Remember
that if you're running any mods you should remove them and see if
the issue persists [UPDATE] We have had some reports that deleting
your preferences.xml file that is found in the Wargaming.net folder
in the %appdata% folder as well as making sure your graphics
drivers are up to date seems to be help. We have not been able to
confirm in office as of yet, stay tuned for more updates! [UPDATE
2] Reports of setting graphics from "Improved" to "Standard" could
be a temporary reprieve for the crash issue. Work continues on
hunting down a fix. Indestructible walls on Widepark Not all
of the walls, but some of them can't be destroyed Crashes in
Historical Battles Other regions have also reported this issue
[UPDATE] Severe FPS loss reports Auto Detect the graphic settings
and verify drivers Set the 3D slider to a lower setting and
turn off Anti Aliasing Investigation continues [UPDATE 2] After
extensive testing in house, we have seen that processor settings
can be the cause of FPS drops Please check your processor
affinity for World of Tanks to assure that it is functioning on all
cores of your processor (a guide on setting processor affinity can
be found
here) [UPDATE 3] There have been claims that replacing your
engine_config.xml file with a different one that disables core
balancing helps Download
THIS file, extract the xml file from it and place said xml
file in the 0.9.0 folder in the res_mods folder (found in the
root World of Tanks folder) I say res_mods because it will still
offer the same functionality from this folder without having to
back up the engine_config file in the res folder. If the
performance does not change or is worse, just remove the file from
the 0.9.0 folder. [UPDATE!] Patch for crashes and some
of the FPS issues is inbound! Check out jinxx71's post [
HERE ] The patch will hopefully be out by Friday. I will
be keeping this thread up to date with what is going on with these
and any other issues found.
