When does French Arty become anything but a painful grind?

The_Chieftain: They are enjoyable to play, but I have terrible success at getting large numbers of XP per battle on them. The shtick is that they are as fast as medium tanks, so use this ability to get to places where artillery is not expected, and hammer on folks who are hiding in “arty safe” positions. If you do like many, and simply sit in the spawn areas or “typical” arty areas, all you are doing is playing a game that every other arty line is better at.
