The_Chieftain:  The first problem here is "some company we've never heard of". If you are genuinely unaware of ID.me (or Sheer.id, or Veterans Advantage) you are obviously out of the loop. Scores of respectable companies use them for verification. If you don't want to provide the requirements, that's up to you.
