Flipside, where else could they put her? Corpus Cristi with the Lexington? Is there anywhere else in Texas that has any museum ships it could combine with?

The_Chieftain:   Problem with Corpus Christi is that with Texas' hull in such a fragile condition, and with CC basically just being a shoreline, the next hurricane which comes along has a good chance of sinking Texas. Granted, there's a barrier island, but I understand that Lexington's position on Corpus Christi bay didn't do her any favours the last big one to come along.
