proposed legislation which attempted to ban them, and it said
'device which modifies the rate of fire'. The problem is that such
stocks do not modify the mechanics of the rifle in any way, it
is possible to bump-fire any semi-auto which has recoil. There are
videos on Youtube on folks emptying the 8 rounds of an umodified
WW2 era M1 garand in less than a second. I can imagine the court
case. "You are charged with posessing a device which increases
the rate of fire." "Fine. Prosecutor, find someone to use this
bump-stock rifle. Judge, get the stopwatch. I'll have someone fire
an unmodified rifle. Let's see who does it faster." Plus, frankly,
they're easy to manufacture. I can do it with about $30 of home
depot materials. It wouldn't look pretty, but it would do the job.

idea. I would draw the comparison between a gun and a motorcycle
enthusiast. Keeping your risky hobby loud reminds you and those
around to stay aware and behave safely.The_Chieftain: Opinions in Europe vary. In some jurisdictions they are
banned, in other areas they are mandatory. Some consider their use
to be a safety thing, some consider them to be a courtesy and are
unregulated. Australia leans 'against', though it varies by State
as to the extent. New Zealand leaves them unregulated.

went to youtube and saw a "Tankfest 2017 - Behind the Scenes with
The Mighty Jingles" video. I went "ooh, new Jingles video! Sweet."
and started it up. A few seconds into the video I pause and scroll
down. It's not a Jingles video, it's a Tank Museum video! (And then
I unpaused and continued watching.) The virtual Sturmtiger
display they show off is neat.The_Chieftain: The virtual Sturmtiger display they show off is neat. I saw
it myself. Tank Museum seems to like Jingles.
