The_Chieftain: I can see arguments all ways. My Audi is 12 years old, I
haven't made a payment on it in six or seven years. (Maintenance is
another matter). The SL was bought just under three years in, 28k
miles, at well under half sticker price. That said, I'm looking at
replacing the VW with a lease. I like the idea of my daily driver
being always within warranty, and the price seems better than that
of buying new and trading after three/four years.
