The_Chieftain: "Let go both sticks"? It's an Abrams, not a Challenger.   Aloeus, I really don't have a problem with an arty not being able to help a fast folding flank or the like. I view it as a force multiplier. If there is no force there to multiply, it won't do any good. Put it another way, artillery as a support class should be able to provide that nudge which can tip the balance from one side to the other.
