Girls Und panzer, what does WoT community thinks about it. - part 2

The_Chieftain: I have to say, it was kindof strange looking at the opening battle
in the film, and recognising places you've stood at. Enjoyed
it, quite a bit. I don't think they were explosive bolts on T28, I
guess it's entirely possible that if a wall is tough enough, it
will cause the pins connecting the outer and inner tracks to snap,
but it would have to be one hell of a concrete/reinforced steel
wall to do it. I did appreciate all the little nods to other
things, such as the 'wound my heart' code as seen in The Longest
Day, "Operation Mifune", or that everything in that theme park
at the end was WW2 related, such as the V2 flying into the Giant
Panjandrum. To answer the earlier comment about the BT-42's
chain drive, remember that the BT-7 had moved from a chain drive to
a gearing system. I don't see any particular reason why the gears
cannot be semi-permanently installed during combat, if necessary.
