The_Chieftain: Thank you for the link. A surprising outburst.   I wonder what, exactly, he expected Challenger to do in Australia? He went at the request of the Asia office, and worked to Asia's schedule, which did not include time in the Archives. Plus, I was there twice, and similarly didn't do any researching. I could't even take my thickness gauge for the one tank we couldn't find elsewhere (sentinel) as I didn't check bags. My schedule last week was so compressed that i didn't even take a roll-aboard, just a laptop bag and a small backpack. Both Challenger and myself went as service providers for other departments in WG, not as researchers (There seems to be some confusion that research is actually in either of our job descriptions, it's not, neither of us were hired for that role. We do it as we can).   There are some other issues with his rant, but I'm not going to go into them here.
