The_Chieftain: Oh, just to put this out...   Recent events have led me to realise that it's been a few years since this topic came up, it might be worth revisiting given Threaddite turnover.   As you know, I do my best to give you guys latitude to discuss what you like and how to discuss it, as between friends, and I try to participate as I can on a similar basis. This means that, as between friends, I try to be a little more forthcoming/helpful. Whilst accepting that this is a public forum, it's fairly low-profile. That said, I have a nasty tendency of typing before I think, as witnessed by that very rapid edit to a post I made a while ago. (I think it was up for 30 seconds, but still long enough for someone to make a screen grab).   I would ask that you guys give me some similar latitude. If you see me do something like that, please don't look at it as an opportunity for a 'gotcha' moment. That sort of thing will force me to go into 'total official mode' on what I post on this thread like all others in order to prevent any other recurrences. Instead, I would ask that you respect what I feel is good enough to leave up. It won't be watertight, but it kindof gives me a 'saving throw' and will save quite some heartache.   For the record, I don't know who got the grab, and I'm not asking. I'm just hoping that they're a threaddite and will accept that I'm treading a bit of a line, and that if I feel I've crossed it, it's because I believe the consequences to me can be real and significant.
