The_Chieftain: I have found that when under threat from DDs, the best thing to do
is to charge hem down. Trying to dodge forever is a losing
proposition, you'll get hit eventually. I've found that New Yorks,
Fusos and Tirpitzs make excellent destroyer killers. Obviously,
charge erratically. The DD driver usually doesn't expect it,
often falls back, and sometimes you get a hit. If they try to
charge you down, one or two 14 or 15 inch hits tends to do a number
on them. A DD at 3-5 km isn't too hard to hit. On other
news, I spent way too much money on Squadron's post Christmas sale.
Some good deals, but just adding to the kits I won't be
building.
