The_Chieftain: I wouldn't go that far. It was a great movie for tankers,
possibly beating The Beast as best. If you're not a tanker, it's a
reasonable war movie, but not an all-time great.

The_Chieftain: One thing NC has going for it is murderous AAA. I actively
avoid it as a CV driver. As to the SW argument, while I
agree with SS that one should not need to do background research or
play video games to understand a movie's background, I don't think
it made a bit of difference for me that I hadn't.Things just were
what they were, I accepted it for its own sake, and I
thoroughly enjoyed the two hours in the cinema. Does it really
matter how that star destroyer ended up on Jakku, or who the old
guy was in the beginning?
