The_Chieftain:   You're right. Common mis-wisdom.   The best example of this? Steppes Encounter. Even with a great big white circle on the East side saying 'important terrain here', how many teams will you see sending a preponderance of combat power to the West? At least it's better now than it was when Encounter started.
