targets. Just because a target is assaulting doesn't mean
they aren't stationary or an easy target for arty, and as was
already posted, you don't shoot what isn't lit up, nor do you shoot
what is hiding behind a rock/building that you can't get an angle
on. At least 90% of shots from arty are on forward players.
Campers don't get killed till the people trying to win are
already dead.The_Chieftain: You need to watch one of my streams, I guess. I am far from
averse to lobbing rounds where I think the enemy might be. After
over 20,000 battles, one can generally spot trends to indicate
'well, there's likely someone there'.... And as I said, I love
shooting at the guys cowering 'arty safe'. I have tracks on my SPG,
those fellows tend to be the easiest targets when I use them. That
said, I think your definition of 'assaulting' and mine are
different. "Assaulting" generally implies advancing, as opposed to
"attacking" or "supporting the attack" which merely requires
participation in the fight from wherever he is.
