Wargaming helping build the National Armor and Cavalry Museum

The_Chieftain: Well, the two major problems are (1) the sheer amount of money that
they need for the building, and (2) the legal issues of what the
museum, as a government organisation, is allowed to do with a
private commercial enterprise for anything else we may happen to
want to consider doing. They are far more limited by law than, say,
their British counterpart in Bovington with whom we have a good
relationship. We're also dealing with two separate organisations:
The National Armor and Cavalry Museum, who own the tanks but can't
work with private entities very well, and the National Armor and
Cavalry Foundation who are trying to raise the money for the
museum, but don't own any of the tanks. And, for obvious enough
reasons, it seems that first and last priority for NACF is getting
the $50m or whatever to build a complete structure. Believe
me, it's not as if it's not on our radar, and I've had a couple of
conversations with the lads at Benning, but at this point, we're
not seeing a great meshing of opportunity.
