Fury Debate

The_Chieftain:   Out of interest, how would he categorize Audie Murphy's defense against two companies of German infantry supported by four or six tanks, when he manned a .50 cal on top of a burning M10 tank destroyer, killing/wounding some fifty Germans and winning? Granted it can hardly be considered as typical (And yes, it is sortof hollywoodish in the film), but it's not an impossible feat of heroics.   I believe he's referring to the KV-2 which held up 6th Panzer Div for 6 hours during Barbarossa, not at Stalingrad.

Quote Secondly, he believes that unlike in the movie, an American Easy 8 would never handle a German Tiger.

The_Chieftain:   As to the Sherman/Tiger thing, I have placed my opinion here. http://worldoftanks.com/en/news/pc-browser/21/TCH_Fury_Sherman_Tiger/
