The_Chieftain: What's a Mensa number and why should I care?*   Cooper's memoir is indeed a data point. Or, in military terms, it is a source of information. Information, however, is not intelligence. The latter is only the result of the processing of information to incorporate the validity of the information. Cooper's book is an unreliable source of information as regards many parts of that book, and conclusions based upon his information are on, shall we say, shaky grounds, and should not pass muster to proceed from information (or data point) to final analysis.   *Rhetorical question. I know what it is, and I don't think anyone cares.
