The_Chieftain:   Which gun are you using? I've decided to go with the autoloader, but the extra pen can't be a bad thing. Then again, it's not as if it's a line-of-battle tank.

The_Chieftain:   Depends on situation, and different branches have different rules. And often times, no rules at all. For example, when driving onto a base in civilian attire, the gateguard regardless of branch, will give a salute: He has identified an officer because it says I am one on my ID card he just looked at. I, on the other hand, am sitting down, behind the wheel of a car, and not in uniform. The regulations just don't cover it. Although it is acceptable to just nod and drive off, I, and most other officers I hang out with, will return the salute regardless.

The_Chieftain:   We have a huge cardboard standup of it at the office. We've taken to putting post-it notes with thought bubbles, "What is Brad Pitt Thinking?" Things like "Damnit, no matter how hard I try to carry..."
