T110's Second Summer of Love (And Tolerance)

The_Chieftain:   Not a puppet, a regular in the thread. I asked him/her about it a couple of days ago.   Bottom line, I think that neg-repping a person's posts automatically is petty, immature, an abuse of the intent of the system,  and achieves nothing but further acrimony. Personally, I submit that if a poster is deserving of negative reputation, there will be plenty enough posts by that person which deserve a neg-rep on their own merit, thus giving an appropriate overall poster rep. If a post is a positive or useful one, it shouldn't be given a negative rep. Perhaps it should receive, dare I say, even a positive one.   As far as I know, there are no consequences for this abuse of the neg-rep system, apart from going down in my personal estimation.  That said, I've never really looked up the official rules.
