sights go with it?The_Chieftain: I -believe- so. The way the loading tray is configured,
however, I think there may have been a little leeway in elevation,
but I can't see why they would have taken the risk.

since the French don't feel like actually using it.The_Chieftain: Where would they use it? They've sent them to Lebanon.
Kapisa in Afghanistan is not tank country. Where else are they

over-reliant on "data revolution" equipment, debate about the
placement of the gunner's sight (opposite side of the tank, causes
some parallax issues?), etc. The_Chieftain: The FCS will compensate for the parallax, that's not an
issue. There's parallax on almost every tank. You can make an
argument against Challenger 2's TOGS.

"white worms" are pretty much a Korean characteristic these days.The_Chieftain: Almost.
And guess who else uses T-80s...
Now, that said, I think it's likely
Korean. As far as I know, the Cypriots haven't repainted their
T-80s to local standards yet. Then again, the Koreans took quite
some time before they repainted theirs from Russian factory
delivery as well, so one never knows...
