match maker, in which you would be right, it would add no queue
time as the balancing would happen outside the queue. Skill
based, where you select members from the queue by skill, will add
time to the queue as you wait for suitable players. Since we
have no way to know how many iterations it would take to skill
balance two teams, as that would also be dependent on the
particular method you choose to do the balance, we can't say how
much time it would add before the battle countdown.TeriyakiTanker: Again I think that would depend on your implementation, for
instance if you just create two brackets say below 47% win rate and
47% win rate and above. What I am asking is does anyone have
any evidence either way. And I ask that because in almost all
these threads two things happen1. People who want SBMM are
usually talking about something just skill sorting the reams to
make them closer to "even" (whatever that means to them)2.
Someone one always comes in, completely unchallenged, and states as
a fact that wait times would increase to an unacceptable
level So I just want to know if anyone can give any kind of
evidence that this would be the case or are people just talking out
their butts?
