I think they could make it work, possibly even tie multiple campaigns to take you through the course of WWII. I’m pretty much in the same place as you, have a billion tanks and no longer care about the latest and greatest premium tank. Still enjoy the game but this Christmas is likely to be the last time I spend any kind of significant money on the game.
