I agree with you that proxy spotting is a bad mechanic but that doesn’t change the fact that it was implemented on purpose and working as intended.  If I used any words that are multisyllabic and you aren’t capable of understanding them please let me know and I will get my seven year old daughter to explain them to you on a more appropriate level.
