And the determination of that is between him and his credit card
company, the EULA doesn't shield WG from that. While you or I
might not agree with the reasoning for the dispute, I think there
is an argument based on the 3/5/7 MM drastically changing the
nature of what he bought. Is it an argument that would win in
court? I don't know and neither does anyone else until it is
made and heard, but the reality is that a CC company might side
with him and would most likely start an investigation, one that
would very likely go in the OP way not necessarily on the merits
but because it is highly likely that WG wouldn't respond in time,
just like tons of other companies. OP absolutely has the
right to make the claim and nothing you say will change that.
