They are doing this because when they changed the MM in 9.18 to the 3/5/7 template it really screwed up Tier VIII MM. Before 9.18 came out Tier VIII MM and PMM were not a problem. It literally worked fine until they screwed it up. So people are super mad that they paid for something that wargaming screwed up themselves and are now being asked to now pay WG for a new tank.
As someone who is planning on keeping and enjoying my buffed premiums I find it very hard to believe you cant comprehend why people would get upset. While it may be legal for them to do this it is obviously stupid with the vast majority of players being pissed off about it. If you ran a business do you think it would be a smart idea to piss off something like 75% of your paying customers?
