This is not a DISPUTE/DISCUSSION on chat bans

Tanitha: Hello Maximo
I don't mind the questions of course, but it is in a "discussion" section, so you are opening it up for discussion, so I'll reply and then close the thread.
Most of the bans within World of Tanks, aren't really bans, they are mutes. You can still login, play, but as you said with some limitations. "Map pinging", "Function Keys", and all chat channels.
If for example, a player is banned for spamming or being abusive etc. Then sanctions are put in place to stop that person from continuing to offend. IE they are muted.
There isn't really much point muting someone from spamming garage chat, and then allowing them to continue to spam in game, or spam the Fkeys, or map pinging.
The bans placed, aren't "usually" game bans (except for TKing/friendly fire)
But they do restrict the player enough to prevent them from continuing to offend.
Regards
Tan.
