Growing your Clan:
The goal of recruitment is to find likeminded individuals who share common personalities, and common values thus making the game experience more enjoyable. If you are building a competitive clan, it’s important to find people who want to compete and get better. If you are building a casual clan designed for family and friends, you need to find people who match that. A clan with too varied a mix of individuals is bound to split, simply because people are different. You can avoid such occurrences with sound principles that are adhered to early on in the formation of a clan.
A clan must have an identity; this identity needs to be expressed to others during recruitment in order to properly inform potential recruits as to the nature of the values/priorities of the clan. When you are upfront and honest to people about your clan, they will be making an informed decision, and thus making a commitment when it comes to joining the group. As such it’s a recruiter’s job to ensure that he is representing the clan accurately to any and all applicants.
Inviting new members:
Step 1: Sign in on the top right

Step 2: Once you have signed in, right click your name in the top right corner. A drop down menu will become visible; please select “My Clan”

Step 3: On the right hand side, please select “Recruiting Station”

Step 4: Enter the name of the player you would like to send an invite to your clan for. The individual will receive a message to his account, and he can then choose to accept (join the clan), or decline.

Where to Recruit:
There are several ways or areas to recruit players. One of the main ones is via the WoT forums under the “Clans” section.

Here there are two main sections for recruitment; one is called “Clan Recruitment”. This is an area in which clans can make a topic that potential recruits can visit and view. They can read about your clan, its values and priorities and contact an officer if they so choose.
Another area of the forums for recruiting is called “Looking for a Clan!” This section is for individuals who are searching for a clan to join, can make a topic expressing their priorities and desires for a clan they would like to join. Please read each post careful and only respond to those you feel would make a good addition. Please be aware, many recruiters typically send PM or Private Messages to potentially recruits rather than post directly into the topic.
Another valuable area to recruit players is in-game. Here you can send messages to individuals you saw in battle that you think would be a valuable addition to the clan. Some recruiters resort to in battle copy and paste messages… however, these are generally looked at with disdain as this method of recruitment has been employed too frequently and is seen as spam.
