Overlord: There were no changes in 6.7 that could substantially change this
sort of mechanics. It's mostly personal experience.
1. Because there is a chance you take out external module and/or crew member without dealing actual damage to the hull.
2. Credits/exp income is based on vehicle hit points, module/crew hit points do not count.
