If the game engine has problems with representing it then do some maths, change the shape and armour values to what best reflects the supposed real world performance in game and set it as that. The current hit box in game is completely opposite to what it is in real life, how this even got into the game as it is now and passed initial testing baffles me.
I just can't believe they don't think this needs fixing, or that the change they have made has fixed it. It's beyond belief.

Overlord: First of, gun mantlet armor of KT is not homogenous. Armor schemes and actual measurements by our team in tank museum in Kubinka (there is a KT with Henschel turret) prove that.
Currently game engine doesn't take into account nonhomogenous armor, the existing system of hit boxes allows to assign 8 values to hull armor and 8 values to turret armor. This is planned to be reworked so as to reflect nonhomogenous armor of some important parts of the vehicle, especially gun mantlet. We will be able to assign multiple values for gun mantlet armor, indicating where the mantlet overlaps with hull armor and where it doesn't.
Personally I doubt the above will boost Tiger II performance much, since some parts of the mantlet will have less than 100mm while other parts - 150mm, but that is going to be one more step towadrs historial accuracy in armoring.
