Now even after reading this, or maybe you skipped this wall-of-text rant, you may still be thinking "It's just a game, point is to be balanced and fun, not historically accurate" but then why is it that after a while, the majority of players feel like German tanks are crap, and balance is indeed off?
There are undoubtedly more aspects in this game that affects the performance of tanks that I do not know about and did not comment on butI hope I’ve illustrated and explained enough examples to make you feel this imbalance isn’t coincidental. Agree or disagree, all I ask is that you think for yourself. Take a look at the game with an open mind, and ask yourself if this is a dev team really trying their best to be balanced as they purport to be. I really cannot imagine all these discrepancies are just by chance or mistake, personally I have little faith that this dev team is being fair.
Also keep in mind there are unconfirmed rumours and suspicions that the stats displayed to the user in the game are not true, meaning that the real stats may be even more biased. These are conspiracy theories, nothing concrete, but sometimes when I look at the stats, and look at what happens ingame, I can’t help but wonder...
I have a message to the devs; you should admit your bias. It’s obvious and prevalent everywhere. It may not be anything massively balance-breaking but at almost every aspect it seems things have been tweaked to give the Russians at least a small unfair advantage. Don't you dare say the game is realistic or balanced and people have just been underestimating Soviet and overestimating German tanks. Neither realistic nor balanced, it is disappointing to see such a well made game engine flawed by such rampant bias.
tl;dr: devs are biased and Russian tanks are OP
