But I have a mouse and keyboard. Simplistically, the direction you look is the direction your plane will try to go.
There are two problems with this:The plane uses yaw and pitch to turn, but no roll. It hates being inverted, or even 90 degree banked turns. This is very limiting.
The plane doesn't pick a good path due to the above. It's 70 degree turn into 70 degree turn and that's it. I put roll left/right on the keyboard, and that helps but it's not quite enough.
Mugsy_: I suggest experimenting with the other control schemes available,
such as Mouse Version 0.4.1? You can also bind roll and pitch to
separate keys which would aid you in having more control over your
plane.
