watch Fusion? Codes are awesome, but so are tournies, and so is
watching some of the best players perform in such an
environment.
Barr and Sov13t did an awesome job of casting the event, and they did give out codes. At the start of the stream they posted them in chat and it was first-come first-serve. First one to put the code in gets it. Part way through, they realized that this was just causing the WoT website to time out, so they changed methods. They had a random dice roll which chose a viewer and they messaged said viewer via twitch PM. They also told all of you in the chat who got it, with a "Congrats to *player*! Check your inbox for the code!". There was an equal chance of all viewers getting a code. It was never promised that everyone would get one, it was simply promised that some would be handed out, and they were.
I had a lot of fun watching the battles and cheering for Fusion. They did an awesome job, and I am looking forward to watching them again. I'm quite disappointed by the amount of people that couldn't care less about the battles and just wanted a free $10 code. I hope next time people aren't so greedy. Maybe if you watched them, and learned form them, you wouldn't need codes. You would be good enough to participate in tournies yourself and get far more gold.
