completely reset and monitored on a probationary period. Having a
premium account does not give you permission to violate our
policies.
Many misconceptions and rumors are created because we do not publicly share details on the sanctions of other's accounts. These actions are handled between us and the owner of that account.

get in a week but I have only seen about 5 bots in over 6,000
matches. I will stipulate the fact that if you play 100's of
matches per week that the chances are you might see more but is it
REALLY that big of a problem? WG hasn't taken much interest in
filtering them out of matches and I suspect that they don't plan to
devote very many resources to the "problem?" These bot posts are
about as useful as the "hack" posts. They just keep rehashing the
same subject over and over and over.Mugsy_: While it is true, the boy problem is not as pervasive as it could
be. It is an issue and one we are taking steps to address. We will
be improving our automatic bot detection software as well as
organizing staff to manually investigate reported cases. If you see
a bot in game please feel free to shoot me a PM with a replay link.

turret moves? Ever see that tank that drives with no
purpose regardless of terrain, bumping into walls and
rocks? Ever see that tank that shoots, but not at
anything in particular? While some of these may be
explained by such things as "my cat jumped on the keyboard while I
went afk" or "my 3 year old loves tanks" or even, "I play for fun"
- not all of them are explained by these lame excuses.Mugsy_: I have been getting into the bot reporting process, learning about
how we have been handling it and watching a lot of replays which
players have started sending my way. Honestly, based solely on the
gameplay footage or visual tells, it is actually a bit difficult to
prove beyond any doubt that someone is botting and not just
terrible at tanking, not playing seriously, letting a child smash
at their keyboard, or playing with one hand while on the phone. So
many cases of botting can very well be cases of mistaken identity.
That isn't to suggest there aren't other ways of divining whether
or not they are botting. Just saying looks dont tell the whole
story.
